1 WHO CAN ENTER
1.1 This Prize Draw is open to residents aged 18 years or over of the United Kingdom excluding Northern Ireland. Employees of the Promoter, its associated companies, agents, third parties or anyone else professionally connected with this Prize Draw are not eligible to enter the Prize Draw.
1.2 Failure to claim the prize within the specified timeframe will result in forfeiture, and an alternate winner may be selected.

2 DEADLINE FOR ENTRIES
2.1 Entries must be received between 9:00 GMT on 09/01/25 and before 23:59 GMT on 31/01/25 via Instagram. Entries received after the Closing Date will not be accepted. Only one entry will be accepted per person.

3.1 To enter, you need to:

b) Submit your reel of your Cat or Dog via a public post on your personal page, and
c) use the hashtag #JohnLewisPetInsurance.
You can only enter the Prize Draw once.Only reels of a Cat or Dog, which are not excluded by clause 3.6 or clause 3.7, will be eligible for entry into the Prize Draw.
3.2 No responsibility will be accepted for entries that are lost, delayed, mislaid or damaged in transit, regardless of the cause, including, for example, as a result of any equipment failure, technical malfunction, systems, network, server, computer hardware or software failure of any kind. Proof of posting or submitting entry online will not be deemed proof of delivery to the Promoter. For the avoidance of doubt, reels which are only visible to a private audience will not be eligible for the Prize Draw.
3.3 Those entries not in accordance with the rules will be void and will be excluded from the Prize Draw by the Promoter; any entry containing offensive content, false, incomplete or misleading information will be void and will be excluded from the Prize Draw by the Promoter.

3.5 By entering the Prize Draw, you give your permission for the Promoter to use your reel as part of the Prize Draw. By entering the Prize Draw, you are confirming that the entry is your own original creation.
3.6 A reel that includes an image of an adult or child which has been shared without the appropriate consent will not be eligible to win.
3.7 We only insure cats and dogs, therefore other Pet types will not be eligible to win the Prize Draw. Please ensure that the entered pets comply with these criteria to be eligible for consideration in the Prize Draw.

4 THE PRIZE
4.1 One winner will be selected at random from all eligible entries. The winner will be awarded a John Lewis Voucher with the value of £1000.
4.2 Any expenses in the general use of and enjoyment of the Prize that the winner or their pet incur are the sole responsibility of the winner.
4.3. The prize is subject to availability. The prize is non-transferable, non-refundable and, unless stated, there is no cash alternative. Returns are only available for an exchange rather than monetary value. In the event that the prize is out of stock or if circumstances beyond the Promoter’s control make it necessary to do so, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute another item, in its sole discretion, of equal or higher value.
5 WINNER SELECTION
5.1 The winner will be chosen at random from all valid entities by a computer process that produces verifiably random results within 7 calendar days of the closing date for the Prize Draw.
6 WINNER NOTIFICATION
6.1 The Winner will be notified by Instagram direct message from @johnlewis within 48 hours of the prize draw, using the account details from the submission. The winner will be required to respond within 14 days of notification (unless otherwise stated) confirming their acceptance of the prize and providing their postal address. In the event the winner does not respond to communications within this period or if any prize is declined, the Promoter reserves the right to disqualify that winner and draw another winner.
6.2 Please allow 30 days from the date of the winner’s address verification for delivery of the prize.
7 DATA PROTECTION AND PUBLICITY
7.1 We will treat all of your personal data as confidential and will only collect, store and use your personal information, including Name, Address, prize draw submissions, and Instagram handle in order to promote and administer the Prize Draw and not for any other purpose without your consent. 7.2 By entering the Prize Draw, you understand that for the purposes of administering the Prize Draw and the Prize fulfillment, it is necessary for the Promoter to hold and process your personal data, and you consent that we may share your information with third parties only as may be necessary for us to administer the Prize Draw.
7.3 The winner may be requested to participate in any after event publicity which may involve publishing their surname, county of residence and photographs, for no further consideration, unless the winner does not consent to their information being published or being made available. Should a winner opt out of publicity, they may request that their details are only made available to the Advertising Standards Agency (ASA) if requested by the ASA.
7.4 The winner’s personal details will be kept on file for up to a year in order to meet our regulatory reporting requirements and may be shared with regulators upon their request. Personal information for all other entrants will be held on for as long as is necessary to administer the Prize Draw and then securely destroyed when the Prize has been delivered to the winner.
